Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026
This policy explains what information Axion (“Axion”, “we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Axion is based in Wisconsin, United States. It covers this website (wereaxion.com), the Axion platform at app.wereaxion.com, and our business communications. Questions: owner@wereaxion.com.
Information we collect
When you visit this website. The website sets no cookies and has no advertising trackers. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without following you to other websites. Like any website, the servers that deliver it receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting and security providers use to deliver pages and protect against abuse. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
When you contact us. If you call or email us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, business, phone number, email address and the details of your request.
When you use the Axion platform. Staff and client accounts include a name, email address and a securely hashed password (we never store the password itself). Clients may add business information to the platform, such as estimates and the contact details of their own customers, so that we can provide the service they requested. To keep accounts secure we record sign-in attempts and IP addresses, and we keep technical request logs that do not include the content you send.
Business contact information. To offer our services to businesses, we research publicly available business information, such as a business’s name, address, public phone number and website, and we keep notes of our calls and emails with them.
How we use information
- To respond to you and provide, support and improve our services.
- To operate client and staff accounts and keep them secure.
- To contact businesses about services that may help them.
- To honor requests not to be contacted.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your information with anyone for their own purposes. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf to run our business: Microsoft 365 (email), Cloudflare (website hosting, security and visit counts), Fly.io (application servers and database) and Google Fonts (typeface delivery). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of others.
Do not contact requests
If you ask us not to contact your business again, we record that request and keep it so that we continue to honor it. You can make that request on a call or by emailing owner@wereaxion.com.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete it. Backups are kept for a limited time. Do-not-contact records are kept so the request stays honored. Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on encrypted storage, and access to the platform is limited by account and role. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you, by emailing owner@wereaxion.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some information where the law requires it.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change and show the new date at the top of this page.
